Usually when you think of volcanoes you think of extreme heat. Not so in the region in Chile South of the High Andes Mountains.
For skiers the volcanos are actually a great place to hang out. The volcanoes are not as high in altitude as the Andes but actually get more snow. There are many ski areas in the active volcanoes to add some excitement to your ski adventure.
