Prices depend on income levels of people, and based on income, the beneficiaries are listed in groups A and B. Those with free medical care, group C who pay only 10% of care. Group D pays 20%.

Isapres

The private health system has many health plans, which sometimes makes it especially difficult to choose the right plan. For this reason and according to the Superintendency of ISAPRES, before choosing a plan, follow these steps:

  • Identify the main health needs of the family or person, that is going to buy a health care plan
  • Please note, if there are more women than men in the family group. If there are possibilities of pregnancy, elderly people and / or children.
  • Define how much you're willing to pay.
  • Choose Isapre within those with offices throughout the country, near the you home or office.
  • Choose plans which ensure greater coverage for more expensive treatments.
  • Once you have taken the decision. Make the  health history, yours and all members of the plan.
  • Read the documents before signing and request copies.
  • Do not accept pressure to sign documents.
