More Argentines expected to visit Chile

Argentines seem to be unaffected by the financial crisis shaking most of the world as more Argentines are expected to visit Chile this coming season in this side of the planet.

Many reasons contribute to this increase in tourists. One among them are the trendy summer beaches but more important is the exchange rate which has worked favorably for the Argentines.

Airline Alliance

Air Comet will end its flights to Punta Arenas which have started since December 2004 because of commercial and operational alliance with Sky Airline which belongs to Marsans - Spanish tourism group.

Air Comet's Enrique Meliá, regional manager in Punta Arenas announced that the alliance between her company with Sky Airline will enable consolidation of routes, offices, air traffic and does not mean that they are leaving Chile but rather changing the structure of their company with the said alliance. Survival of Chilean Tourism Against the US Financial Crisis

The US financial crisis has been affecting different parts of the globe. From a drastic downfall of tourism to some countries and the sudden increase in prices of services and commodities have been the problem of the government, entrepreneurs and the consumers.
