A traveler can only wish for so much. Getting yourself inside a country that is full of history and quite different from what you have been used to is already a rare opportunity unavailable to most other people living in this planet. Visiting a country's major cities is already a good-enough treat for the busy traveler. They are called the guachos of Argentina, the llaneras of Venezuela, and the cowboys of the United States. In Chile, they are called the huasos, although they aren't complete equivalents with those that I have mentioned above. The main difference is that the huasos not only deal with cattle, as they can also be engaged in agriculture, acting like some sort of farmers. Female huasos are called huasas, although they are more commonly called as china. The city Rancagua, is characterized as one of the cities that best preserves the rustic traditions of the country. It is in the O'Higgins Region and is located 87 kilometers from the city of Santiago de Chile. It is near to this and other major cities across Route 5, (or Panaricana) and the Metrotren.
