What inspired you to launch your own website?

to promote hacienda los lingues the 20 world oldest family busines in the world(family bissnes magazine. so it can be maintened as historic herytage of chile

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

in the 1990 aprox then re launched in 2002 and will be redone very soon

How did you decide on a name for your website?

is the name of the destination for ever

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

is the oldest property in the same family since xvi century,very well maintained,olso the oldest horse breading since 1760.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

to mainteined for futur generations

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

24/7 for the past 27 years with good and bad times.to big to suport .

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

yes in some way adding new rooms in the same style,no goverment help to suport historic bildings ,

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

that will not happend is only a hotel and atraction site

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

50 people year round to maintain just 18 rooms,and tourisim a few mounth of the year september to april.

What has been your biggest challenge?

to be the first one in latin america 1980,to promote and open turistic traffic to make knowen the destination alone,no budget only allianses and imagination,help from press and companys

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

word to word,journalist coming through and raiting ,tv programs.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

wery well lots of reservations coming from the web.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
