Pichilemu was the dream of one of the richest men in Chile, Agustin Ross, who bought a field of 300 hectares in 1885 and built a hotel, casino and several chalets as well as stone surrounding walls with a lookout and walkway facing the sea. His idea was to create a resort to the more elegant European style and included a park and a forest of 10 hectares. Today Pichilemu has become one of the most important destinations in our region.
